What's the best retro scooter?

I have been driving since 1995 and have been a cyclist for more years than I care to remember. I am now looking for a first (retro) scooter - is the Lexmoto Milano 125cc a good scooter for a beginner? I am 59 and experienced on the road but will be using it for commuting, leisure and social plus the occasional longer journey.

The Milano is a good budget choice, along with the other Lexmoto retro scooters. For the price of a scruffy secondhand Vespa, you get a new bike with warranty. The finish isn't quite as robust as a Vespa, but keep it clean and it should last well. It's a good first scooter for town and commuter riding and a doddle to move about for parking.
