Are scratch cover pens actually any good?

I often see ads for felt-tip pens that claim to "cover paint scratches like magic". Are these products actually any good?

Depends very much upon the scratch. They can, to a certain extent, mask some quite deep scratches - but they're never as good as a proper smart repair by a professional. But if you just want to make a small improvement to the appearance of a scratch without spending a lot of money they'll do a decent job.
