What is the best all-purpose dash cam you recommend within a reasonable budget?

I wasn't sure whether it was worth buying a dash cam until today. A driver several cars behind me on a local 20mph road lost patience and overtook all the cars on the wrong side of the road and pulled into the gap in front of me without any warning at high speed. I narrowly avoided hitting the car simply because I had glanced into my wing mirror as I was about to go forward. What is the best all-purpose dash cam you recommend within a reasonable budget?
If you'd like a front and rear view dash camera, which is a smart idea, the new Nextbase Series 2 range offers extra rear camera modules on the 522GW, 422GW and 322GW. The Z0Edge T4 Dual is also worth considering, review here: kit.honestjohn.co.uk/reviews/review-z-edge-t4-dual.../

When it comes to buying a dash cam, at the premium end of the scale, both the Garmin 55 and Nextbase 522GW are great choices. Both brands are excellent and if you want some cheaper options, the Garmin 45 and Nextbase 422GW or 322GW are also very good - I'll link to all the reviews below. I'll also send some Top 10s you might find helpful. As a side note, we rate the YI Smart very highly too and it's under £50 but it's rarely in stock as it's pretty popular.
